Cotteswood Kitchens of Oxfordshire has been making beautiful kitchens for over 20 years but recently they have taken a step forward in their production department, thanks to the advanced technology of the computerised Promatch® Colour System from ISF Coatings. Cotteswood has used ISF products for 4 years for finishing their crafted kitchens and have been impressed with the level of service and skill of the ISF team. One area in particular has been proved revolutionary for the kitchen manufacture, the Promatch® Colour System, which has allowed for greater efficiency in achieving consistent colour reproduction and reduced stock levels & wastage.

The Promatch® On-Site machine is a scaled down version of the larger machine at the ISF headquarters. It has become invaluable to the production operation. With the Promatch® On-Site machine, the Cotteswood production team is able to obtain consistently reproduceable colour matches time and time again. As the dispense amounts are 1, 5 & 25 litres, they can now produce the right amount of paint that is needed for a particular job. Staff are also impressed with the machine as it is easy to use and the accuracy has been spot on.

According to Paul Hopkins of Cotteswood, the Promatch® On-Site has been particularly useful for repeatable shades and retouching, as it can produce the exact match every time, he pointed out that “Its great for us to have this sort of technology on site and everyone has found the Promatch® system easy to use, we can now achieve the same matches that ISF have produced for us for years. New shades are initially matched by computer in the ISF Colour Laboratory and then stored on our system for future use.”

The Promatch® Colour System is loaded with over 20,000 different formulations including British Standard, Pantone, RAL and DCD colours as well as any other colour that you can think of. The Promatch® On-Site features 16 colorants on a 2 base system (clear & white) and will automatically dispense the right quantities of colorants time after time. It may be used with Pre-Cat, Acid-Cat, Polyurethane & Flame-Retardant systems. Also available is a completely water-borne system.

If you find you are in need of a new or unusual colour, requests can be sent to the ISF Promatch® Laboratory. The perfect combination of colorants will then be identified and sent via email or fax within the working day. The formulation can then be stored on the Promatch® On-Site for future use.
